A collision led to PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Marin Petre hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haşim Tokyay in the 59th minute of play forced PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's goalkeeper Costel Lăcătușu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konstanty Joks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Gelu Vârnav made a huge save. Costel Lăcătușu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Dragoș in the 87th minute of play. Liviu Găvănescu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gelu Vârnav firmly grabbed it by the left post. For all the effort they put into the match, the PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Donaris FC.
