In the 17th minute Leonard Alucusan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vali Pană saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SKY BLUE's Vali Pană played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viorel Enceanu in the 22nd minute of play. Vali Pană showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Alucusan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Vali Pană made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Alucusan in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Zoltan Šepić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Dinamo Botosani-BTF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Mardare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Dinamo Botosani-BTF booed when SKY BLUE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Nichitelea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dinamo Botosani-BTF had played much better football throughout.
