Spectators: 8000 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 160) Alkın Yaren started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Alkın Yaren notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Banat Steierdorf's Arne Võsandi. Arne Võsandi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferdinand Floroiu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Allan Lumi 7 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the FC Banat Steierdorf defense, Volli Hinn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Võsandi. The FC Banat Steierdorf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Võsandi should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute Alkın Yaren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Võsandi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Volli Hinn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arne Võsandi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 18 minutes into the match, POLI TM's Alkın Yaren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arne Võsandi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Volli Hinn in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arne Võsandi saved FC Banat Steierdorf from getting behind. After 20 minutes, Volli Hinn made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. FC Banat Steierdorf's Arne Võsandi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Ferdinand Floroiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Allan Lumi was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinand Floroiu in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Allan Lumi saved POLI TM from getting behind. In the 30thth minute of the game Alkın Yaren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Banat Steierdorf's Arne Võsandi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute Ferdinand Floroiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Lumi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Lumi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Floroiu in the 35th minute of play. Dacian Mărăscu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Võsandi having to interfere. After 37 played minutes FC Banat Steierdorf got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Busuioceanu. After a rather tough play, FC Banat Steierdorf's Rich Ricketts got a free kick in the 38th minute. Arne Võsandi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alkın Yaren in the 39th minute of play. Allan Lumi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Baicea, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 46 minutes into the match, FC Banat Steierdorf's goal looked a bit too open when Alkın Yaren came free, but Arne Võsandi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdinand Floroiu to make the kick off. Allan Lumi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Floroiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. A nice corner shot did that Dino Albertini got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Allan Lumi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Floroiu in the 55th minute of play forced POLI TM's goalkeeper Allan Lumi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Lumi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdinand Floroiu's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Alkın Yaren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Arne Võsandi made a huge save. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Banat Steierdorf! Arne Võsandi had in the 61stth minute some difficulties stopping Adam Cărtărescu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinand Floroiu in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Allan Lumi saved POLI TM from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Volli Hinn dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arne Võsandi, 1-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Alkın Yaren managed to get in a good position for a shot. POLI TM's supporters rose to their feet, but Alkın Yaren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Võsandi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. POLI TM's Allan Lumi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Floroiu in the 76th minute of play. Ferdinand Floroiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Lumi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flo Flo during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in POLI TM fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Allan Lumi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdinand Floroiu's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Floroiu in the 90th minute of play forced POLI TM's goalkeeper Allan Lumi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Ferdinand Floroiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Lumi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 minutes, Yuri Motta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the POLI TM and the FC Banat Steierdorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, one of POLI TM:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for POLI TM. Dino Albertini placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Ferdinand Floroiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched POLI TM eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
