Albert Oanță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iurie Miclescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Albert Oanță dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Albert Oanță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iurie Miclescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Octav Cristea scored 0-4 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albert Oanță, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 48 minutes of play, Rapid Bucharest's Francisc Agulescu made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albert Oanță was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Rapid Bucharest were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iurie Miclescu was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Virgil Ţirpe took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Albert Oanță to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Ionel Siniştean took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Albert Oanță to make any attempt to save it. In the 61st match minute, Barca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorin Roşculeţ to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Rapid Bucharest's Francisc Agulescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. 66 minutes into the match, Francisc Agulescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albert Oanță, 0-10. Barca's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Francisc Agulescu 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-12. After 80 minutes of play, Rapid Bucharest's Ionel Siniştean made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albert Oanță was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the game, Iurie Miclescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Albert Oanță. Iurie Miclescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-14. Albert Oanță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iurie Miclescu in the 91st minute of play. After some careless play in the Barca defense, Iurie Miclescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albert Oanță. The Barca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albert Oanță should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Rapid Bucharest could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Barca throughout the match.
