Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Jan-Simon Blanchaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sorin Slătineanu having to interfere. In the 70th minute Sandu Chelaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sorin Slătineanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Mugurel Drăgoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mugurel Drăgoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM-'s Sorin Slătineanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM- from getting a goal against them. Sorin Slătineanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darwin Núñez in the 74th minute of the match. Sorin Slătineanu made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Korneliusz Kocieniewski sent off a good shot on target. Sorin Slătineanu came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by FC STEAUA BRAILA's Korneliusz Kocieniewski. But to his dismay, Korneliusz Kocieniewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Sorin Slătineanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Chelaru in the 82nd minute of the match. Sorin Slătineanu made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Darwin Núñez sent off a good shot on target. Korneliusz Kocieniewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Sorin Slătineanu made a huge save. With a little luck, Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM-'s Sorin Slătineanu got control of the ball when Korneliusz Kocieniewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM-'s Sorin Slătineanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM- from getting a goal against them. Jean Bertassi took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sorin Slătineanu. Sorin Slătineanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. In the 95th minute, Darwin Núñez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sorin Slătineanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. FC STEAUA BRAILA played a much better game than Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM- and deserved their victory. The Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
