Niculae Dudău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Károly Bodrogi, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabríel Cristofor in the 54th minute of play forced MINAS TIRITH's goalkeeper Niculae Dudău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Károly Bodrogi came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the C Ａ R D I N Ａ L fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Károly Bodrogi couldn't finish the play. The supporters of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L booed when MINAS TIRITH was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liviu Vlăsiu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
