The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gavril Bucur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Marin Covrig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nistor Porumbescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marin Covrig took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nistor Porumbescu. Nistor Porumbescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 13 played minutes, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Marin Covrig shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nistor Porumbescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C Ａ R D I N Ａ L reached it. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Jan-Joost Werner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save C Ａ R D I N Ａ L from getting a goal against them. Marin Covrig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iustin Radu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Nistor Porumbescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Vlad Zbagan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Ştefan Dobrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horea Poplăcan came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jan-Joost Werner could save by the left post. In the 33rd minute, Iustin Radu made a precise shot to the right of Nistor Porumbescu. BlackKnights's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Nistor Porumbescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peppe Mascara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peppe Mascara took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nistor Porumbescu. Nistor Porumbescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavril Bucur in the 44th minute of play forced BlackKnights's goalkeeper Nistor Porumbescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Marin Covrig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nistor Porumbescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half C Ａ R D I N Ａ L were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gheorghe Corbuț made a kick off. Nistor Porumbescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavril Bucur in the 51st minute. After 52 played minutes BlackKnights got a freekick which was hit by Leontin Bebeșel. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Lars Malmgren shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 53rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nistor Porumbescu but with some difficulty. Nistor Porumbescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peppe Mascara, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Iustin Radu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Nistor Porumbescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Iustin Radu got a free kick in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Poplăcan came free, but Jan-Joost Werner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nistor Porumbescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavril Bucur in the 80th minute. Nistor Porumbescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peppe Mascara in the 84th minute of the match. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lars Malmgren in the 89th minute. A well done corner resulted in Roland Smolarek drilling the ball in to score 0-5 behind BlackKnights's goalkeeper. Nistor Porumbescu came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Gabríel Cristofor. But to his dismay, Gabríel Cristofor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. A collision led to C Ａ R D I N Ａ L getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Gavril Bucur hit a great ball. The BlackKnights fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
