Dumitru Doloman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yin Li Ying in the 18th minute of the match. Dumitru Doloman made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Mikael Isak sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Gabrielsson in the 24th minute of play forced Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Ionică Corcoveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ionel Gâlcă made a great header on Eintracht Cernavoda's corner, it was just that Viola Invest's Dumitru Doloman managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 36th minute, Eintracht Cernavoda's İlmi Zülfü seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed İlmi Zülfü the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Eintracht Cernavoda protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and İlmi Zülfü had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 37 played minutes Eintracht Cernavoda got a freekick which was hit by İlmi Zülfü. Oscar Colon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ionică Corcoveanu. Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 39th minute, Kuuno Tälli made a precise shot to the right of Ionică Corcoveanu. Eintracht Cernavoda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Kuuno Tälli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Mikael Isak could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Dumitru Doloman however easily saved by the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Dumitru Doloman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yin Li Ying in the 51st minute of the match. Stig-Åke Gabrielsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Ionică Corcoveanu made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Viola Invest's Mario Jakobe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The audience was convinced that Yin Li Ying's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dumitru Doloman was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Viola Invest's Dumitru Doloman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yin Li Ying in the 89th minute of play.
