After 8 played minutes Delphine Stars got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Dersidan. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Gonzo Ivanov put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Flavius Mantu. Geoboss-My Team's Gigel Cozma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kajetan Gondek in the 13th minute of play. Kajetan Gondek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gigel Cozma having to make a save. The Delphine Stars fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Delphine Stars's Froilan Maura looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With an all-out effort, Delphine Stars's Gigel Cozma threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Froilan Maura, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gigel Cozma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Maura, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Gigel Cozma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kajetan Gondek in the 26th minute of play. Geoboss-My Team's Mircea Grigorie was substituted for Sebastian Cojan. After having played for 36 minutes, 姚卫平 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geoboss-My Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but 姚卫平 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 39th minute of the match Mircea Dersidan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mircea Dersidan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonzo Ivanov to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Froilan Maura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Cozma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Nässén to maneuver through the defense.
