Despite this Tibor Guzy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dragoş Vâtcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibor Guzy having to interfere. Gigel Chirculescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tibor Guzy having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, Gyepüpataka's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Chirculescu came free, but Tibor Guzy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Tibor Guzy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 24th minute of the match Balaceanu UFC got a corner. Gyepüpataka's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dumitru Chiriacescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gigel Chirculescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tibor Guzy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gigel Chirculescu ran back to his position shaking his head. A sloppy throw-in by Gábor Portik in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Balaceanu UFC's Cristi Bădiță. Dragoş Vâtcu charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dragoş Vâtcu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 50th match minute, Balaceanu UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustinian Burdujan to maneuver through the defense. 51 minutes into the match, Balaceanu UFC's goalkeeper Daniel Moron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Paredes. Tibor Guzy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Chirculescu in the 57th minute of play. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gyepüpataka's goalkeeper Tibor Guzy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tibor Guzy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. When Dragoş Vâtcu came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Balaceanu UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dragoş Vâtcu couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, Balaceanu UFC's Gigel Chirculescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tibor Guzy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Balaceanu UFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gyepüpataka had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
