After 6 played minutes Buffalo Timişoara got a freekick which was hit by Vali Voicescu. Alisson Becker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Pamfil in the 10th minute of the match. Alisson Becker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pompiliu Pamfil went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Virgil Dănilă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franky Ooms, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Maarten Van Achteren took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alisson Becker. Alisson Becker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 24 played minutes Buffalo Timişoara got a freekick which was hit by Vali Voicescu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Turdeanu in the 27th minute of play forced PamantDeFlori's goalkeeper Virgil Dănilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pompiliu Pamfil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgil Dănilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franky Ooms, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, PamantDeFlori's goal looked a bit too open when Franky Ooms came free, but Virgil Dănilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maxim Pintilie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Virgil Dănilă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pompiliu Pamfil got free with Alisson Becker in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franky Ooms made a kick off. After 50 played minutes PamantDeFlori got a freekick which was hit by Mark van haeve. PamantDeFlori's Virgil Dănilă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Turdeanu in the 52nd minute of play. Buffalo Timişoara's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Albert Turdeanu in the 53rd minute.
