The crowd rose to their feet as Balavanis's Grigore Şoiman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alisson Becker. That made the score 3-1 after 21 minutes of play. Grigore Şoimans short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Alisson Becker to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 29th minute of the match, Avram Barascu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alisson Becker saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ionuț Agusoaei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Turdeanu in the 30th minute of play. After 31 minutes, Franky Ooms made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side.
