Spectators: 8070 (Terracing: 6055, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 160) Sebastian Ţugui started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cetatea Suceava's Liviu Aldulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Cetatea Suceava from getting a goal against them. Dumitru Podgoreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. VIP's Dumitru Berca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Barral in the 4th minute of play. After 5 minutes VIP's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andrei Agulescu who took care of the corner kick. Liviu Aldulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ştefan Coșereanu in the 7th minute. Dumitru Berca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Agulescu in the 28th minute of the match. Dumitru Berca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Bălan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 31 minutes, Sebastian Ţugui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VIP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Ţugui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Ţugui got free with Liviu Aldulescu in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to VIP getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Raphael Abraão hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Cetatea Suceava's Ciprian Paveliuc got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Andrei Agulescu made the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute Ştefan Coșereanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Aldulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrei Agulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Berca having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Ţugui in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liviu Aldulescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Cetatea Suceava booed when VIP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dumitru Berca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluigi p'Bitek, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Liviu Aldulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Ţugui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
