In the 5th minute, Yao Xing Chao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samet Ağar in the 8th minute of play forced Muget's goalkeeper Isac Gligor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 minutes of play, F.C. YKE's Samet Ağar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isac Gligor was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Florin Stancu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C. YKE's Michael Jordan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ernest Mazilu in the 17 minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Samet Ağar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isac Gligor was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 19th minute of the match F.C. YKE got a corner. Muget's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Traian Brăiloiu ran over to the corner to take the kick. F.C. YKE's Felix Leahu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save F.C. YKE from getting a goal against them. Dorel Dacian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Felix Leahu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, F.C. YKE's goal looked a bit too open when Tião Amaral came free, but Felix Leahu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Isaia in the 36th minute of play forced F.C. YKE's goalkeeper Felix Leahu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes F.C. YKE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joan Quesada who took care of the corner kick. Isac Gligor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Brăiloiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. F.C. YKE's Felix Leahu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tião Amaral in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute Traian Brăiloiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Gligor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Leahu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florin Stancu in the 45th minute. Felix Leahu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorel Dacian in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Traian Brăiloiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. F.C. In the 56th minute Florin Stancu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Leahu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Leahu came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Muget's Florin Stancu. But to his dismay, Florin Stancu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Stancu in the 61st minute of play forced F.C. YKE's goalkeeper Felix Leahu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Leahu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florin Stancu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Muget's Tião Amaral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Leahu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Muget's Alaaddin Abdul Alim was substituted for Tião Amaral. Muget's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joan Quesada in the 70th minute. If Samet Ağar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the match, Muget's Florin Stancu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Leahu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mugur Ceaușescu during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Alex Isaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Muget's Florin Stancu in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. YKE's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Isaia in the 89th minute of play forced F.C. YKE's goalkeeper Felix Leahu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samet Ağar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isac Gligor having to make a save. Isac Gligor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samet Ağar, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
