When Pankracy Siwy came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the GoooooooooooooooooooooooL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pankracy Siwy couldn't finish the play. Remus Pinches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Răcănel, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the Fc Lothlorien defense, Pankracy Siwy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remus Pinches. The Fc Lothlorien fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remus Pinches should have stopped the shot. Remus Pinches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Răcănel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fc Lothlorien's Remus Pinches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Ruskov in the 20th minute of play. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Fc Lothlorien's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gilbert Nalaskowski took the corner. The corner led GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Narcis Răcănel to fire away a dangerous shot which Remus Pinches despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 28th minute Johnathan Bowden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pankracy Siwy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnathan Bowden in the 33rd minute of the match. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Peter Schmeichel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save GoooooooooooooooooooooooL from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute Narcis Răcănel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Pinches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Răzvan Ioanițiu hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes GoooooooooooooooooooooooL got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Răcănel. After the first half GoooooooooooooooooooooooL were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Pankracy Siwy in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Remus Pinches, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Remus Pinches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Ruskov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pankracy Siwys short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Remus Pinches to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Remus Pinches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Răcănel in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pankracy Siwy in the 65th minute of play forced Fc Lothlorien's goalkeeper Remus Pinches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goal looked a bit too open when Li Qian Jing came free, but Peter Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcis Răcănel in the 73rd minute of play forced Fc Lothlorien's goalkeeper Remus Pinches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulino Marin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remus Pinches read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play.
