An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt Lundberg in the 7th minute of play forced Dinamo Speia's goalkeeper Dorel Stângã to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorel Stângã showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Scobioalã, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Fc-Criuleni-City's Zydrunas Karcemarskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonid Prutean in the 17th minute of play. After 18th play minutes Bengt Lundberg shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Dorel Stângã and just under the crossbar into goal. Dorel Stângã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Lundberg in the 21st minute of play. Bengt Lundbergs short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Dorel Stângã to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bengt Lundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Dorel Stângã tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fc-Criuleni-City's Maxim Scobioalã in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dinamo Speia's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ion Delinschi to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Fc-Criuleni-City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Scobioalã to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute of the match, Devananda Dass tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dorel Stângã stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt Lundberg's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When Bengt Lundberg came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Fc-Criuleni-City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt Lundberg couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Cheptene in the 64th minute of play forced Dinamo Speia's goalkeeper Dorel Stângã to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinamo Speia's Dorel Stângã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Lundberg in the 69th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt Lundberg in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorel Stângã saved Dinamo Speia from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, Fc-Criuleni-City's Pavel Cheptene sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorel Stângã narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Ciprian Agapie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Dinamo Speia getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Adrian Bumbac hit a great ball. Matty Cash's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorel Stângã read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Bengt Lundberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Fc-Criuleni-City's goal looked a bit too open when Ion Delinschi came free, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Bengt Lundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorel Stângã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Bengt Lundberg notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Dinamo Speia's Dorel Stângã. Dorel Stângã was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dinamo Speia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
