In the 22nd minute Osvaldo Tibalt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragos Enicov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes, Joseph Stähelin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc-Criuleni-City and the Ajax Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fc-Criuleni-City's Joseph Stähelin got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Ruslan Plesca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Tibalt in the 32nd minute of play forced Ajax Academy's goalkeeper Dragos Enicov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolae Carabulea hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Fc-Criuleni-City's goalkeeper Zydrunas Karcemarskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marin Pârlea. Ajax Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mircea Tãrâtã in the 40th minute. Dragos Enicov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Tibalt in the 41st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ajax Academy defense, Osvaldo Tibalt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dragos Enicov. The Ajax Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dragos Enicov should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Dragos Enicov was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Osvaldo Tibalt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Osvaldo Tibalt really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Mircea Tãrâtã kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Dragos Enicov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Lundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Tibalt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Dragos Enicov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Osvaldo Tibalt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc-Criuleni-City's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Tibalt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dragos Enicov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ajax Academy's Dragos Enicov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Tibalt in the 60th minute of play. Osvaldo Tibalt had several of the Ajax Academy's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Dragos Enicov as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ajax Academy's Marius Cazacu was substituted for Mircea Tãrâtã. Ajax Academy's Dumitru Crudu was substituted for Radu Papuc. With a little luck, Ajax Academy's Dragos Enicov got control of the ball when Pavel Cheptene tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute of the match, Bengt Lundberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dragos Enicov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 69 minutes of play, Fc-Criuleni-City's Bengt Lundberg made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dragos Enicov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gong Yan Bin in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zydrunas Karcemarskas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dragos Enicov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Tibalt in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84thth minute of the game Gong Yan Bin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc-Criuleni-City's Zydrunas Karcemarskas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dragos Enicov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Scobioalã in the 89th minute of play. Dumitru Crudu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zydrunas Karcemarskas having to interfere.
