Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vitauts Brensmits in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedikts Rodkēvičs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vitauts Brensmits fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedikts Rodkēvičs having to interfere. Guntars Penkovskis kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Silvis Lidzus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedikts Rodkēvičs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurts Uljānis in the 32nd minute of play forced Bozauka's goalkeeper Andris Erkmanis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Bozauka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ritvaldis Takuminis to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Guntars Penkovskis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bozauka's Andris Erkmanis didn't even have to move. After recieving a nice pass, SĀVIENAS STREIPUĻOTĀJI's Guntars Penkovskis tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, Bozauka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ritvaldis Takuminis to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, SĀVIENAS STREIPUĻOTĀJI's Kurts Uljānis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andris Erkmanis narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvis Lidzus was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Silvis Lidzus sped through SĀVIENAS STREIPUĻOTĀJI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benedikts Rodkēvičs.
