In the 4th minute Michal Noworolnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredis Bilēvics saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FK Poolisti's Fredis Bilēvics played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Noworolnik in the 6th minute of play. Michal Noworolnik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Fredis Bilēvics made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulvis Cetmens during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, Ulvis Cetmens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Margots Kornieks kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Aļģis Dimants came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the FK Poolisti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aļģis Dimants couldn't finish the play. After 16 played minutes GAUJA got a freekick which was hit by Michal Noworolnik. The audience was convinced that Knuts Plekss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toms Felss was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Toms Felss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andris Paupers in the 18th minute of the match. FK Poolisti's Mairis Strautnieks was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Toms Felss in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 22 minutes into the match, FK Poolisti's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Lluis came free, but Fredis Bilēvics reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Knuts Plekss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toms Felss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knuts Plekss in the 27th minute of play forced GAUJA's goalkeeper Toms Felss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Mairis Strautnieks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GAUJA's Toms Felss was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Toms Felss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knuts Plekss in the 31st minute of the match. Fredis Bilēvics made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Toms Skirmanis sent off a good shot on target. After taking down the ball on FK Poolisti's corner Aļģis Dimants fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Toms Felss quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to FK Poolisti getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Saivis Amplis hit a great ball. FK Poolisti's Fredis Bilēvics proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save FK Poolisti from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, FK Poolisti's Fredis Bilēvics got control of the ball when Toms Skirmanis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michal Noworolnik to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Zigismunds Piekalns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toms Felss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knuts Plekss in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute Antonio Lluis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredis Bilēvics saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Mairis Strautnieks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toms Felss was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Antonio Lluis sped through FK Poolisti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fredis Bilēvics. 67 minutes into the match, FK Poolisti's goal looked a bit too open when Toms Skirmanis came free, but Fredis Bilēvics reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Knuts Plekss managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Poolisti's supporters rose to their feet, but Knuts Plekss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toms Felss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mairis Strautnieks hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, FK Poolisti's goal looked a bit too open when Toms Skirmanis came free, but Fredis Bilēvics reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fredis Bilēvics made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toms Skirmanis in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knuts Plekss in the 73rd minute of play forced GAUJA's goalkeeper Toms Felss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredis Bilēvics showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toms Skirmanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, GAUJA's Cazimir Slătineanu got a free kick in the 77th minute. Cazimir Slătineanu hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Knuts Plekss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toms Felss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FK Poolisti booed when GAUJA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zigismunds Piekalns didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Andris Paupers could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Toms Felss however easily saved by the left post. 82 minutes into the match, FK Poolisti's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Lluis came free, but Fredis Bilēvics reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andris Paupers got free with Toms Felss in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, FK Poolisti's Knuts Plekss ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Toms Felss. Toms Felss yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Arvīds Maģiskais got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fredis Bilēvics took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Noworolnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FK Poolisti supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FK Poolisti would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
