Trakai's Beržas Jasas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Svajūnas Mikėnas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Irmantas Žvigaitis got free with Svajūnas Mikėnas in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute, Marijus Gleveckas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pagauyenay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Trakai's zone, Marijus Gleveckas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astijus Radzinevičius came out of the goal and Marijus Gleveckas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mantvydas Gleveckas charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mantvydas Gleveckas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mantvydas Gleveckas kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Svajūnas Mikėnas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nerūnas Cieška in the 35th minute. Astijus Radzinevičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marijus Gleveckas in the 46th minute of play. Vėjas Ubavičius kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Trakai's Astijus Radzinevičius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Trakai from getting a goal against them. If Marijus Gleveckas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Marijus Gleveckas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Pagauyenay's Girkantas Karskis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Astijus Radzinevičius. That made the score 0-3 after 68 minutes of play. Feliksas Bagdonas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Trakai's Astijus Radzinevičius got control of the ball when Marijus Gleveckas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute Arvydas Bitėnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astijus Radzinevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Vygantas Rančys was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trakai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pagauyenay the free kick. Pagauyenay's Pranas Aurila was substituted for Marijus Gleveckas. Pranas Aurilas short, quick shot in the 98thth minute got Astijus Radzinevičius to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pagauyenay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
