Jokūbas Krištopaitis hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Feliksas Jurkaitis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dobilas Giedraitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deividas Staponkus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 played minutes Balzam Giedymina got a freekick which was hit by Miglius Sutkus. Deividas Staponkus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Paulius Svetulevičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Deividas Staponkus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balzam Giedymina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deividas Staponkus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nerūnas Buivys charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nerūnas Buivys the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nerūnas Buivys hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Deividas Staponkus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenijus Gegeckas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Paulius Svetulevičius made a huge save. In the 48th minute, viKinG's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eugenijus Gegeckas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Hasso Schade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vydas Kalinauskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Hasso Schade rounded Balzam Giedymina's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. If Eugenijus Gegeckas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to viKinG getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Tautrimas Paškevičius hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Domas Damkus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulius Svetulevičius showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 64 minutes in the game, Hasso Schade fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vydas Kalinauskas having to interfere. In the 69th minute Eugenijus Gegeckas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulius Svetulevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardas Sasnauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Balzam Giedymina's Deividas Staponkus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulius Svetulevičius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Eugenijus Gegeckas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulius Svetulevičius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Eugenijus Gegeckas scored 3-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulius Svetulevičius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Eugenijus Gegeckas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Balzam Giedymina's zone, Hasso Schade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vydas Kalinauskas came out of the goal and Hasso Schade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Eugenijus Gegeckas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, viKinG's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenijus Gegeckas came free, but Paulius Svetulevičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Balzam Giedymina's Eugenijus Gegeckas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulius Svetulevičius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Balzam Giedymina fans cheered their team off the field, for while viKinG had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
