Vaclovas Uogintas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ričardas Opulskis having to interfere. Konstantinas Daukaitis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Tauras Virbickas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vakaris Jurkus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augustas Andrulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliksas Jovaiša during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FBK Žalgirio fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Vaclovas Uogintas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ričardas Opulskis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ričardas Opulskis was a little too slow when Benas Danilevičius got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vakaris Jurkus in the 33rd minute of play forced FBK Žalgirio's goalkeeper Tauras Virbickas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, FC RIM&SON's goal looked a bit too open when Vėjas Žalpys came free, but Ričardas Opulskis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC RIM&SON's Erlandas Jameikis got a free kick in the 37th minute. Vėjas Žalpys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Ričardas Opulskis made a huge save. FC RIM&SON's Vakaris Jurkus got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vaclovas Uogintas got free with Ričardas Opulskis in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vaclovas Uogintas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vaclovas Uogintas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match FBK Žalgirio got a corner. FC RIM&SON's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marijonas Burnickas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Marijonas Burnickas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ričardas Opulskis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jogaila Balandis's late challenge caught a FC RIM&SON's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jogaila Balandis helped the player get up and apologised. Jogaila Balandis hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Vakaris Jurkus fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 66th match minute, FC RIM&SON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artūras Grigaliūnas to maneuver through the defense. Marijonas Burnickas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Augustas Andrulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ričardas Opulskis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaclovas Uogintas in the 93rd minute of the match. FBK Žalgirio were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC RIM&SON to leave the ground with a draw.
