After 3 minutes, Vydas Subačius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Joniskis and the F.Co.Adrenalinas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of F.Co.Adrenalinas booed when FC Joniskis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vydas Subačius didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Valdas Bagvila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vydas Subačius got his second yellow card in the match during the 6th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 7th match minute, FC Joniskis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vydas Subačius to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Zigmas Katinas made a precise shot to the right of Alfonsas Kančelskis. FC Joniskis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After having played for 11 minutes, Vidas Remeika managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Joniskis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vidas Remeika was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klemensas Labuckas in the 13th minute of play forced F.Co.Adrenalinas's goalkeeper Romualdas Kalasiūnas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Mannuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonsas Kančelskis having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, FC Joniskis's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Mannuel came free, but Alfonsas Kančelskis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, FC Joniskis's Klemensas Labuckas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romualdas Kalasiūnas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Romualdas Kalasiūnas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Klemensas Labuckas went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Romualdas Kalasiūnas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svajūnas Eigirdas in the 29th minute of play. Klemensas Labuckas might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romualdas Kalasiūnas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Klemensas Labuckas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute Klemensas Labuckas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romualdas Kalasiūnas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, F.Co.Adrenalinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agnius Žąsinas to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute of the match Marius Matusevičius sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romualdas Kalasiūnas skillfully saved the ball. Romualdas Kalasiūnas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klemensas Labuckas, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Klemensas Labuckas to make the kick off. F.Co.Adrenalinas's Romualdas Kalasiūnas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save F.Co.Adrenalinas from getting a goal against them. F.Co.Adrenalinas's Romualdas Kalasiūnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidas Remeika in the 56th minute of play. Romualdas Kalasiūnas came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Joniskis's Klemensas Labuckas. But to his dismay, Klemensas Labuckas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Svajūnas Eigirdas hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of FC Joniskis:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of F.Co.Adrenalinas:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Joniskis's zone, Cosme Mannuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonsas Kančelskis came out of the goal and Cosme Mannuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Klemensas Labuckas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Romualdas Kalasiūnas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Klemensas Labuckas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Klemensas Labuckas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romualdas Kalasiūnas made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Klemensas Labuckas sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Mannuel in the 96th minute of play forced FC Joniskis's goalkeeper Alfonsas Kančelskis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Klemensas Labuckas came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the FC Joniskis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klemensas Labuckas couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Joniskis eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
