When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Stanislovas Aliukonis put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Egidijus Dičius. If Dominykas Laivys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Pranas Damijonas fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Tosca's protests and gave Pranas Damijonas a yellow card for diving instead. Aurelijus Budnikas came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Egidijus Dičius could save by the left post. After 18 minutes of play, FC Tosca's Adil Oğuzhan made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Almantas Mališka was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Heiko Wiesemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almantas Mališka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adil Oğuzhan in the 25th minute of the match. Egidijus Dičius made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Algirdas Žukauskas sent off a good shot on target. Egidijus Dičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Algirdas Žukauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Algirdas Žukauskas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egidijus Dičius having to make a save. Stanislovas Aliukonis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egidijus Dičius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Heiko Wiesemann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When FK Didvieciai's Stanislovas Aliukonis in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adil Oğuzhan to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Giedrius Utkevičius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Didvieciai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giedrius Utkevičius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanislovas Aliukonis in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egidijus Dičius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Heiko Wiesemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stanislovas Aliukonis in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egidijus Dičius saved FC Tosca from getting behind. Egidijus Dičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heiko Wiesemann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Stanislovas Aliukonis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egidijus Dičius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stanislovas Aliukonis went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute, Algirdas Žukauskas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the FC Tosca defense, Stanislovas Aliukonis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egidijus Dičius. The FC Tosca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egidijus Dičius should have stopped the shot. Algirdas Žukauskas might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egidijus Dičius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Algirdas Žukauskas ran back to his position shaking his head. Egidijus Dičius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanislovas Aliukonis's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Gytis Remeikis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Egidijus Dičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Giedrius Utkevičius came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the FK Didvieciai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giedrius Utkevičius couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that FK Didvieciai were the better team. FK Didvieciai's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
