Christos Ioannidis charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christos Ioannidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christos Ioannidis hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rdth minute of the game Panos Seremetidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liyiá's Omiros Tsiafkaris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Liyiá booed when Likoyiαnnis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chrisostomos Velas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Likoyiαnnis FC's Panos Seremetidis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Omiros Tsiafkaris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Liyiá's Omiros Tsiafkaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Seremetidis in the 35th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Panos Mourikis to make the kick off. Nikiforos Aggelidis hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Theofanis Arnidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liyiá's supporters rose to their feet, but Theofanis Arnidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestoras Saravalakos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sotiris Magoulas kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Mourikis in the 68th minute of play forced Liyiá's goalkeeper Omiros Tsiafkaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestoras Saravalakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theofanis Arnidis in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Chrisostomos Velas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omiros Tsiafkaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Mourikis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Liyiá's goalkeeper Omiros Tsiafkaris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th minute of the match Fivos Zaranis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omiros Tsiafkaris showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 90th minute, Chrisostomos Velas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikiforos Aggelidis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nestoras Saravalakos. Likoyiαnnis FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Likoyiαnnis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Theofanis Arnidis came free, but Nestoras Saravalakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
