When Panos Papilias fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KRITIKOBAZELOS.F.C's protests and gave Panos Papilias a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes KRITIKOBAZELOS.F.C got a freekick which was hit by Panos Papilias. Vassilis Kazantzopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Minas Karalexis having to interfere. The referee gave KRITIKOBAZELOS.F.C a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Valentinos Poniridis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Laliσtis BC's Minas Karalexis. 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Leonidas Kefaloulis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Minas Karalexis. Laliσtis BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonidas Kefaloulis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Leonidas Kefaloulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kostas Viglakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loukas Zoumakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Kostas Viglakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loukas Zoumakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Loukas Zoumakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manos Vakros, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by KRITIKOBAZELOS.F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dimitris Chatzis was slow to take the kick. During this time Laliσtis BC's players had a chance to rest. Laliσtis BC were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after KRITIKOBAZELOS.F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dimitris Chatzis took the corner. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Manos Vakros made the kick off in the second half. If Leonidas Kefaloulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Manos Vakros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laliσtis BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manos Vakros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loukas Zoumakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Panagiotis Liberiou fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laliσtis BC's protests and gave Panagiotis Liberiou a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of KRITIKOBAZELOS.F.C booed when Laliσtis BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panagiotis Liberiou didn't get a good kick on the ball. KRITIKOBAZELOS.F.C's Loukas Zoumakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manos Vakros in the 60th minute of play. Manos Vakros struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Loukas Zoumakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laliσtis BC. Kostas Viglakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Loukas Zoumakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manos Vakros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loukas Zoumakis having to make a save. Loukas Zoumakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostas Viglakis in the 78th minute of play. After some careless play in the KRITIKOBAZELOS.F.C defense, Kostas Viglakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loukas Zoumakis. The KRITIKOBAZELOS.F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loukas Zoumakis should have stopped the shot. Manos Vakros struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Loukas Zoumakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laliσtis BC. After 84 minutes, Manos Vakros made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. KRITIKOBAZELOS.F.C's Loukas Zoumakis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kostas Viglakis in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loukas Zoumakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to KRITIKOBAZELOS.F.C getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Panos Papilias hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Kostas Viglakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laliσtis BC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind KRITIKOBAZELOS.F.C's goalkeeper Loukas Zoumakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
