Spectators: 7760 (Terracing: 5821, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 154) Nikos Stavrakis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute, Fanis Thanos made a precise shot to the right of Timos Koutsoures. BARCA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 6 minutes, Alesandro Del Piero made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. BARCA's Timos Koutsoures tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Greek Saints's Benê de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Stavrakis in the 12th minute of play. Timos Koutsoures came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Greek Saints's Koulis Bachramis. But to his dismay, Koulis Bachramis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 21 minutes into the match, Fanis Thanos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timos Koutsoures. BARCA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fanis Thanos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 25th minute of the match Marcus Senna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timos Koutsoures showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Anastasios Karalexopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BARCA's protests and gave Anastasios Karalexopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Greek Saints booed when BARCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasios Karalexopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Greek Saints's Fanis Thanos got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timos Koutsoures took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alesandro Del Piero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Greek Saints's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Stavrakis came free, but Benê de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fanis Thanos came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Greek Saints fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fanis Thanos couldn't finish the play. Greek Saints's Alesandro Del Piero got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, BARCA's goal looked a bit too open when Alesandro Del Piero came free, but Timos Koutsoures reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timos Koutsoures took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alesandro Del Piero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fanis Thanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

When Thymios Vrasidas fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BARCA's protests and gave Thymios Vrasidas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, BARCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thymios Vrasidas to maneuver through the defense. Timos Koutsoures was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marcus Senna. The Greek Saints fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Greek Saints's Fanis Thanos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iraklis Katergiannakis during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alesandro Del Piero in the 66th minute of play forced BARCA's goalkeeper Timos Koutsoures to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 played minutes BARCA got a freekick which was hit by Petros Kavallieratos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fanis Thanos got free with Timos Koutsoures in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petros Kavallieratos hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Fanis Thanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Alesandro Del Piero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timos Koutsoures saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fanis Thanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, BARCA's goal looked a bit too open when Alesandro Del Piero came free, but Timos Koutsoures reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The BARCA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Greek Saints were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
