Konstantinos Grigoriadis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prokopis Theodoridis in the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Vassilis Papafotis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Marmatakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Menelaos Trichias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Panagiotis Bobolis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Dimitris Marmatakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panagiotis Bobolis in the 25th minute of play forced Dhipotamiα's goalkeeper Dimitris Marmatakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Menelaos Trichias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Dhipotamiα's Louis Bechrakis got a free kick in the 28th minute. A collision led to Dhipotamiα getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Aimilios Thanos hit a great ball. Dhipotamiα's Dimitris Marmatakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Menelaos Trichias in the 37th minute of play. Loukas Prokopiou charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Loukas Prokopiou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Loukas Prokopiou kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. A hard shot by Manos Koutsovassilis from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Konstantinos Grigoriadis's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a defensive mix-up in Dhipotamiα's zone, Panagiotis Bobolis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitris Marmatakis came out of the goal and Panagiotis Bobolis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dimitris Marmatakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panagiotis Bobolis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Dhipotamiα players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paris Saint Germain were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Panagiotis Bobolis to strike the kick off in the second half. Dhipotamiα's Dimitris Marmatakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panagiotis Bobolis in the 55th minute of play. Dimitris Marmatakis made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Menelaos Trichias sent off a good shot on target. Manos Koutsovassilis hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Paris Saint Germain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panagiotis Bobolis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Panagiotis Bobolis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Menelaos Trichias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Menelaos Trichias came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dimitris Marmatakis could save by the left post. Christos Kalamaras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 played minutes Paris Saint Germain got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Papafotis. After 89 played minutes, Dhipotamiα's Louis Bechrakis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Konstantinos Grigoriadis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dhipotamiα reached it. Christos Kalamaras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, one of Paris Saint Germain:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Paris Saint Germain. The referee gave Dhipotamiα a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Louis Bechrakis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Paris Saint Germain's Konstantinos Grigoriadis. 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
