In the 11thth minute of the game Stavros Anthoulis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Masia FC's Christos Kornelakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Aggelos Koutsoudakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kalapσdhion FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Vassilis Pirovolakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stavros Marinakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Stavros Anthoulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stavros Anthoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Kornelakis having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Stavros Marinakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Masia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stavros Marinakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vassilis Pirovolakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandros Dentsas kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, La Masia FC's Ntinos Stavrinos tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. La Masia FC's Christos Kornelakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aggelos Koutsoudakis in the 29th minute of play. Stavros Marinakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Pirovolakis having to interfere. If Soulis Linaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of La Masia FC booed when Kalapσdhion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionysis Louboutis didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stavros Marinakis to make the kick off. Aggelos Koutsoudakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Kornelakis having to interfere. If Soulis Linaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, La Masia FC's Christos Kornelakis got control of the ball when Stavros Anthoulis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th of the match, Aggelos Koutsoudakis tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Christos Kornelakis got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Masia FC's goalkeeper Christos Kornelakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kalapσdhion FC's Vassilis Pirovolakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Soulis Linaris in the 83rd minute of play. Vassilis Pirovolakis came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by La Masia FC's Stavros Marinakis. But to his dismay, Stavros Marinakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soulis Linaris in the 89th minute of play forced Kalapσdhion FC's goalkeeper Vassilis Pirovolakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stavros Anthoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Kornelakis having to interfere. Stavros Marinakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vassilis Pirovolakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stavros Marinakis ran back to his position shaking his head. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
