In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind stavrouliakos's goalkeeper Makis Kechagias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kleon Negris kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Charis Pegiadis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giannis Kastaniadis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes in the game, Kyriakos Petrakos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Apostolis Androulakis having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Avraam Kazantzoulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mazio f.c.'s zone, Kyriakos Petrakos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apostolis Androulakis came out of the goal and Kyriakos Petrakos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kyriakos Petrakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apostolis Androulakis having to interfere. Giannis Kastaniadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Makis Kechagias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Mazio f.c.'s Apostolis Androulakis got control of the ball when Giannis Palavos tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Giannis Kastaniadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Alekos Efthimiadis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. stavrouliakos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mazio f.c. the free kick.
