The crowd rose to their feet as Diogenis Karpouzopoulos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fondas Klidis. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Fondas Klidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chatziioannou Dedes in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Marinos Karnezis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. POUTSA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avrámi the free kick. Marinos Karnezis hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. POUTSA FC's Detelin Dzhermanski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Boaventura in the 10th minute of play. Fondas Klidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Panagos, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Charilaos Loukanidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, POUTSA FC's Giannis Panagos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Avrámi's Valter Boaventura got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valter Boaventura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Detelin Dzhermanski having to make a save. Fondas Klidis made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Diogenis Karpouzopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valter Boaventura in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Detelin Dzhermanski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the game, one of Avrámi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Avrámi:s Fondas Klidis showed great skill when he stopped Giannis Tziolis:s penalty. A collision led to POUTSA FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Anastasios Korobos hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Apostolos Trobetas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avrámi's supporters rose to their feet, but Apostolos Trobetas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Detelin Dzhermanski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Apostolos Trobetas made a kick off. If Stelios Samaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th match minute, POUTSA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marinos Karnezis to maneuver through the defense. When Anastasios Rousseas fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avrámi's protests and gave Anastasios Rousseas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of POUTSA FC booed when Avrámi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasios Rousseas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Charilaos Loukanidis in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Avrámi's Stelios Samaras. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of POUTSA FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Avrámi:s goal. When the match had been going on for 74 minutes, Avrámi's Vaios Kalivrousis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Detelin Dzhermanski. Fondas Klidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogenis Karpouzopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Stefanos Bountouris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fondas Klidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Charilaos Loukanidis in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Avrámi's Stelios Samaras. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelios Samaras in the 89th minute of play forced POUTSA FC's goalkeeper Detelin Dzhermanski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avrámi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vaios Kalivrousis in the 91st minute. The corner led to Avrámi's Anastasios Rousseas getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Stelios Samaras fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avrámi's protests and gave Stelios Samaras a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Avrámi's Stelios Samaras got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Chatziioannou Dedes struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Fondas Klidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for POUTSA FC. 96 minutes into the game, Charilaos Loukanidis threw the ball into play from the sideline. Avrámi's Stelios Samaras quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Avrámi's Stelios Samaras got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. POUTSA FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Avrámi for a fine match.
