Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Giannis Dimitropoulos made the kick off which started today's match. Iosif Vyntra came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico de Madrid's Giannis Dimitropoulos. But to his dismay, Giannis Dimitropoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 5 played minutes Panetolikos PC got a freekick which was hit by Chatziantoniou Papachristos. After a defensive mix-up in Panetolikos PC's zone, Segundo Maule stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iosif Vyntra came out of the goal and Segundo Maule tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omiros Simos in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iosif Vyntra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Nikos Fragiadis in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Panetolikos PC's Sakis Aggellakis. Iosif Vyntra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Fragiadis in the 25th minute of play. Iosif Vyntra was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Omiros Simos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Omiros Simos really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. 30 minutes into the game, Ignatios Giannou recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iosif Vyntra. Ignatios Giannou showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Iosif Vyntra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omiros Simos, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Panetolikos PC's Iosif Vyntra got control of the ball when Giannis Dimitropoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Omiros Simos scored 6-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iosif Vyntra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ignatios Giannou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Iosif Vyntra made a huge save. 41 minutes into the match, Giannis Dimitropoulos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iosif Vyntra. Panetolikos PC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giannis Dimitropoulos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. 44 minutes into the match, Charis Mamatziolas notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Atletico de Madrid's Andreas Iakovidis. Andreas Iakovidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charis Mamatziolas to strike the kick off in the second half. Omiros Simos struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Iosif Vyntra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico de Madrid. Iosif Vyntra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Dimitropoulos in the 56th minute of the match. Nikos Fragiadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Vyntra having to interfere. In the 68th minute Omiros Simos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosif Vyntra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nasos Karagiannis charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nasos Karagiannis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Panetolikos PC got a freekick which was hit by Nasos Karagiannis. The audience was convinced that Giannis Dimitropoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iosif Vyntra was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Iosif Vyntra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Dimitropoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omiros Simos in the 74th minute of play forced Panetolikos PC's goalkeeper Iosif Vyntra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Giannis Dimitropoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico de Madrid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-1. 79 minutes into the match, Giannis Dimitropoulos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iosif Vyntra. In the 83rd match minute, Panetolikos PC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telis Baroutis to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Panetolikos PC's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Fragiadis came free, but Iosif Vyntra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Giannis Dimitropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosif Vyntra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute Omiros Simos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosif Vyntra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iosif Vyntra came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico de Madrid's Omiros Simos. But to his dismay, Omiros Simos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-1. Panetolikos PC's Iosif Vyntra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Dimitropoulos in the 93rd minute of play. Nasos Karagiannis hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Panetolikos PC got a freekick which was hit by Chatziantoniou Papachristos. Iosif Vyntra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Dimitropoulos in the 97th minute of play. Atletico de Madrid walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
