Kostas Nasiopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. Kostas Nasiopoulos hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Olympic Airways's Dimosthenis Koutsilas threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Giannis Kalogiannis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Vradheton BC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Filip Örtendahl hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filippos Samaropoulos got free with Dimosthenis Koutsilas in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dimosthenis Bamias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorotheos Kopanos having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When Filippos Samaropoulos came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Olympic Airways fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filippos Samaropoulos couldn't finish the play. Dimosthenis Koutsilas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filippos Samaropoulos in the 53rd minute of play. Dimosthenis Bamias's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Dorotheos Kopanos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Olympic Airways's Apostolos Skopelitis got a free kick in the 56th minute. Vradheton BC's Dimosthenis Koutsilas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Kalogiannis in the 63rd minute of play. In the 69th minute Filippos Samaropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimosthenis Koutsilas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes Olympic Airways got a freekick which was hit by Grigoris Tragas. Giannis Kalogiannis hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. If Dimosthenis Bamias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 minutes of play, Olympic Airways's Apostolos Skopelitis made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimosthenis Koutsilas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dimosthenis Koutsilas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miltos Vakoufaris in the 87th minute of the match. Dimosthenis Koutsilas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Kalogiannis, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 90th minute, Vassilis Skoufas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Vradheton BC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vradheton BC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
