Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stelios Mikedis got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Christos Vasakis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giannis Katsavidas. Christos Vasakis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Charis Papaikonomou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Charis Papaikonomou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, Charis Papaikonomou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΘΥΕΛΛΑ ΧΑΛΚΕΙΟΥ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a little luck, Jimboy's Giannis Katsavidas got control of the ball when Charis Papaikonomou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giannis Patrinos charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giannis Patrinos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Giannis Patrinos hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jimboy's zone, Timos Zebetoglou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giannis Katsavidas came out of the goal and Timos Zebetoglou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 28 minutes of play, Jimboy's Panos Mavroudis made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fanis Okkas was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Jimboy getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Fondas Vistakis hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Christos Vasakis took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Giannis Katsavidas to make any attempt to save it. Charis Papaikonomou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jimboy's Giannis Katsavidas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Vasakis in the 41st minute of play. Giannis Katsavidas made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Charis Papaikonomou sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christos Vasakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Jimboy defense, Charis Papaikonomou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giannis Katsavidas. The Jimboy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giannis Katsavidas should have stopped the shot. Christos Vasakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Giannis Katsavidas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Panos Mavroudis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giannis Katsavidas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Vasakis in the 66th minute of the match. Panos Mavroudis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 played minutes Jimboy got a freekick which was hit by Fondas Vistakis. After 77 played minutes Jimboy got a freekick which was hit by Stelios Mikedis. If Charis Papaikonomou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christos Vasakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ΘΥΕΛΛΑ ΧΑΛΚΕΙΟΥ had played much better football throughout.
