In the 10th minute Spyros Dimitriou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmut Tõnuri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Helmut Tõnuri came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bad Company's Spyros Dimitriou. But to his dismay, Spyros Dimitriou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Stamatis Bountos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Geleberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Palliniakos FC got a corner. FC Bad Company's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Generoso Rami ran over to the corner to take the kick. Palliniakos FC's Generoso Rami was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stamatis Bountos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bad Company's goalkeeper Stamatis Bountos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Anier Geleberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stamatis Bountos was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Geleberto in the 39th minute of play forced FC Bad Company's goalkeeper Stamatis Bountos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michalis Katsaros shot from long distance after 41 played minutes, a shot that Helmut Tõnuri with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar.
