If Trifon Lalas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th match minute, GloRy F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonis Kidonakis to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, VARDA F.C.'s Panos Routsis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thomas Mavreas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Themis Papadopetrakis made a huge save. Themis Papadopetrakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Mavreas, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Giotis Louvaris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VARDA F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GloRy F.C. the free kick. Kleon Argyriou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Themis Papadopetrakis made a huge save. Themis Papadopetrakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kleon Argyriou in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, GloRy F.C.'s Thymios Matsikidis got a free kick in the 23rd minute. VARDA F.C.'s Panos Routsis got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomas Mavreas charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Mavreas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thomas Mavreas kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Trifon Lalas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Themis Papadopetrakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 36 minutes of play VARDA F.C.'s Giotis Louvaris was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 37th match minute, VARDA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giotis Louvaris to maneuver through the defense. 苏庭枫, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 47 minutes into the match, VARDA F.C.'s goalkeeper Themis Papadopetrakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Mavreas.

The wind increased when Thomas Mavreas made the kick off in the second half. Avraam Aggelatos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisão Fernandes in the 55th minute of play forced GloRy F.C.'s goalkeeper Stelios Panagiotopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Trifon Lalas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themis Papadopetrakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, VARDA F.C.'s Aldo Serena got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, VARDA F.C.'s Panos Routsis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Panos Routsis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of VARDA F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Panos Routsis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in VARDA F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Themis Papadopetrakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kleon Argyriou in the 68th minute of play. Themis Papadopetrakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trifon Lalas's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kleon Argyriou in the 78th minute of play forced VARDA F.C.'s goalkeeper Themis Papadopetrakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stelios Panagiotopoulos made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Theodosis Labrakis sent off a good shot on target. Theodosis Labrakis took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stelios Panagiotopoulos. Stelios Panagiotopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Aldo Serena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelios Panagiotopoulos having to interfere. GloRy F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
