After 11 played minutes Chernolνtsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Charis Kofinas. A long shot from Mateusz Makowski in the 12th minute of play was well struck, but Ismael Otsoa made a really good save at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Panagiotis Kavazis got free with Ismael Otsoa in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ismael Otsoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelito Caballero in the 24th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Panagiotis Kavazis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ismael Otsoa, 1-0. Angelito Caballero took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Otsoa. In the 43rd match minute, Chernolνtsa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolis Theofanidis to maneuver through the defense. After 45 minutes of play Chernolνtsa FC's Charis Kofinas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 45th minute, one of Chernolνtsa FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chernolνtsa FC.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michalis Aggelopoulos was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Trivνdhi booed when Chernolνtsa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eutichios Vlantis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Chernolνtsa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelito Caballero came free, but Ismael Otsoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
