Konstantinos Psiloglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 played minutes Amfithea Hotspur got a freekick which was hit by Konstantinos Psiloglou. Miltos Macheras hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Lipochσrion's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Christos Triantis scored to the left of an out of position Stratos Petras, making the score, 1-0. Stratos Petras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vassilis Pirovolidis in the 27th minute of play. Valerios Paboulis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stavros Kollias's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Lipochσrion's Stratos Petras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Lipochσrion from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Stavros Kollias made the kick off in the second half. Valerios Paboulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stavros Kollias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stavros Kollias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valerios Paboulis having to make a save. After some careless play in the Lipochσrion defense, Markos Miroforidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stratos Petras. The Lipochσrion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stratos Petras should have stopped the shot. Amfithea Hotspur made a substitution. Makis Salaminiotis replaced Minas Tsirkos. Amfithea Hotspur's Valerios Paboulis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Amfithea Hotspur from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stavros Kollias in the 77th minute of play forced Amfithea Hotspur's goalkeeper Valerios Paboulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lipochσrion's Dimitris Stavropodis got a free kick in the 79th minute. Lipochσrion's Stratos Siamantouras was substituted for Dimitris Stavropodis. In the 80th minute, Dimitris Stavropodis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stratos Petras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionysis Stamatiou in the 87th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Nestoras Pinezas notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Amfithea Hotspur's Valerios Paboulis. Valerios Paboulis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fotis Lagos hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Konstantinos Psiloglou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amfithea Hotspur's supporters rose to their feet, but Konstantinos Psiloglou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stratos Petras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lipochσrion players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Amfithea Hotspur.
