The tension between the AO BEKIANIKA and the Chernolνtsa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pavlos Tzanabetis kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After some careless play in the AO BEKIANIKA defense, Michalis Aggelopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tolek Turek. The AO BEKIANIKA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tolek Turek should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the game, Dionysis Adamidis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ismael Otsoa. Dionysis Adamidis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in AO BEKIANIKA's zone, Tolis Theofanidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolek Turek came out of the goal and Tolis Theofanidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Chernolνtsa FC booed when AO BEKIANIKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukasz Skonieczny didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentinos Adamiadis in the 30th minute of play forced AO BEKIANIKA's goalkeeper Tolek Turek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolek Turek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michalis Aggelopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 37th minute Valentinos Adamiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Turek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charis Kofinas hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Marios Likouris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Chernolνtsa FC's Thanos Bouloubasis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Thanos Bouloubasis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chernolνtsa FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Thanos Bouloubasis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Chernolνtsa FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AO BEKIANIKA:s goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michalis Aggelopoulos was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Michalis Aggelopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Turek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chernolνtsa FC's zone, Marios Likouris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Otsoa came out of the goal and Marios Likouris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michalis Aggelopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Tolek Turek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Tolis Theofanidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Turek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Otsoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionysis Adamidis in the 69th minute of play. Valentinos Adamiadis kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Aggelos Kakouros was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ismael Otsoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iason Kroustallis's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Tolis Theofanidis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tolek Turek. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 87th minute of the match, Michalis Aggelopoulos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tolek Turek saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simos Sobolos in the 94th minute of play forced Chernolνtsa FC's goalkeeper Ismael Otsoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chernolνtsa FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
