Amfithea Hotspur's Valerios Paboulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balaban Haliloğlu in the 13th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vassilis Pirovolidis got free with Michalis Papaefthimiou in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. P.A.O.K FC's Michalis Papaefthimiou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vassilis Pirovolidis in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 50 minutes, Markos Miroforidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
