When Anestis Koubaras fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AO BEKIANIKA's protests and gave Anestis Koubaras a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Green Hell F.C. booed when AO BEKIANIKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anestis Koubaras didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Fanis Zouboulidis managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Green Hell F.C.'s Nikos Kakratsas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 10 played minutes AO BEKIANIKA got a freekick which was hit by Dionysis Adamidis. The referee gave Green Hell F.C. a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tommy Rolfsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AO BEKIANIKA's Fanis Zouboulidis. 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, AO BEKIANIKA's goal looked a bit too open when Marios Kareklidis came free, but Fanis Zouboulidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitris Keratzoglou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simos Sobolos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Green Hell F.C.'s Dimitris Keratzoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iason Kroustallis in the 26th minute of play. If Nasos Giatzoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aggelos Kakouros's late challenge caught a Green Hell F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aggelos Kakouros helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AO BEKIANIKA's Aggelos Kakouros got a free kick in the 30th minute. Fragiskos Kalpadakis kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Iason Kroustallis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the game, Dionysis Adamidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AO BEKIANIKA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green Hell F.C. the free kick. In the 46th minute, Nikos Kakratsas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lukasz Skonieczny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marios Likouris to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Green Hell F.C.'s zone, Iason Kroustallis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitris Keratzoglou came out of the goal and Iason Kroustallis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iason Kroustallis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dimitris Keratzoglou firmly grabbed it by the left post. Fanis Zouboulidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Mitroulis in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Marios Kareklidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fanis Zouboulidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Christos Mitroulis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fanis Zouboulidis. AO BEKIANIKA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christos Mitroulis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 66 minutes into the game, Green Hell F.C.'s Lefteris Boniatis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fanis Zouboulidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Marios Kareklidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Christos Mitroulis came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Green Hell F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christos Mitroulis couldn't finish the play. Erland Busk charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erland Busk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 minutes Green Hell F.C.'s goalkeeper Dimitris Keratzoglou managed, with a little bit of luck, save Aggelos Kakouros's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Aggelos Kakouros kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes, Green Hell F.C.'s Tommy Rolfsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fanis Zouboulidis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Green Hell F.C. reached it. Lefteris Boniatis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Fanis Zouboulidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Green Hell F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Erland Busk. Nasos Giatzoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Green Hell F.C. had won after a very even match.
