But to his dismay, Chu Zhen Xun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Takis Ntolkas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Kornel Brahm in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Takis Ntolkas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mahmud Alp was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, Armageddon's goal looked a bit too open when Chu Zhen Xun came free, but Bai Feng Wen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mahmud Alp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takis Ntolkas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Armageddon getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Marinos Smyrniotis hit a great ball. ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Thodoris Krezias got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Matthis Paelemans got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Chu Zhen Xun made the kick off in the second half. Bai Feng Wen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chu Zhen Xun, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Mahmud Alp made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Arto Uuesoo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takis Ntolkas in the 62nd minute of play forced ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s goalkeeper Mahmud Alp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giannis Zouboulakis got free with Mahmud Alp in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kornel Brahm in the 90th minute of play forced Armageddon's goalkeeper Bai Feng Wen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
