Fernando Prassov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyriakos Georgopoulos in the 8th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Thymios Pantoflaras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Prassov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Green Hell F.C.'s Fernando Prassov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egemen Tuna in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Egemen Tuna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Prassov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Green Hell F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alketas Anastasakos took the corner. Viriato Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Vieri in the 23rd minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Vieri in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viriato Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Thymios Pantoflaras made the kick off in the second half. Viriato Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Vieri in the 54th minute of play. Egemen Tuna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Prassov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Christian Vieri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viriato Cruz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ made a substitution. Apostolis Stamatelopoulos replaced Thymios Pantoflaras. Fernando Prassov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egemen Tuna in the 64th minute. Fernando Prassov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostolis Stamatelopoulos in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Hao Bang Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Green Hell F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kyriakos Georgopoulos in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Prassov saved Green Hell F.C. from getting behind. After 82 played minutes ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Iosif Briolas. Vlassis Kasimis kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Iosif Briolas got a free kick in the 90th minute. Green Hell F.C.'s attentive Radomil Ogrodowicz managed to snatch the ball when Iosif Briolas made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. Apostolis Stamatelopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Fernando Prassov made a huge save. The Green Hell F.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
