The GREEN LIONS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alekos Papaggelis should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the game, Faruk Nafiz Yadigar threw the ball into play from the sideline. Toutourouki f.c.'s Theocharis Sgouros quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Igor Fortun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Akis Sarafis having to make a save. GREEN LIONS's Alekos Papaggelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tilemachos Fragopoulos in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, GREEN LIONS's goal looked a bit too open when Pipis Karapatakis came free, but Alekos Papaggelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Mao Shu Gang almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GREEN LIONS's Alekos Papaggelis did a great save. After some careless play in the Toutourouki f.c. defense, Jorge Peredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Akis Sarafis. The Toutourouki f.c. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Akis Sarafis should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lambis Talitsikas in the 40th minute of play forced Toutourouki f.c.'s goalkeeper Akis Sarafis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Merexildo Raimundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akis Sarafis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GREEN LIONS's Merexildo Raimundo managed to work through Toutourouki f.c.'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Merexildo Raimundo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Toutourouki f.c. made a substitution. Gabriel Niitsoo replaced Pipis Karapatakis. 65 minutes into the match, GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Alekos Papaggelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Niitsoo. GREEN LIONS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Gabriel Niitsoo scored to the left of an out of position Alekos Papaggelis, making the score, 1-2. Tilemachos Fragopoulos struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Alekos Papaggelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Muniain couldn't finish the play. The Toutourouki f.c. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
