Spectators: 10819 (Terracing: 8115, Seating: 2488, VIP seats: 216) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ronaldinho Gaucho started the match with the kick off. Şerif Nesil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clayton Gol in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clayton Gol in the 6th minute of play forced Liverpool F.C. YNWA's goalkeeper Şerif Nesil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şerif Nesil was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Akakios Trachanas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Akakios Trachanas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sheriff's goalkeeper Yahia van der Saar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Ayaz Aydın got a free kick in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Clayton Gol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Şerif Nesil, 2-0. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Damaso Xacintu sped through Liverpool F.C. YNWA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Şerif Nesil. Şerif Nesil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanouil Paltopoulos in the 29th minute of the match. Şerif Nesil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmanouil Paltopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Xacintu came free, but Şerif Nesil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match Sheriff got a corner. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Akakios Trachanas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Christodoulos Parlapipas was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 38th minute Ronaldinho Gaucho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yahia van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şerif Nesil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clayton Gol went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 44 played minutes Liverpool F.C. YNWA got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Gaucho. 47 minutes into the match, Ronaldinho Gaucho notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Sheriff's Yahia van der Saar. Yahia van der Saar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clayton Gol made a kick off. Şerif Nesil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aris Bonoris in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clayton Gol in the 59th minute of play forced Liverpool F.C. YNWA's goalkeeper Şerif Nesil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Ronaldinho Gaucho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yahia van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sheriff's Notis Filippas got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Sheriff made a substitution. Kostas Kapellos replaced Christodoulos Parlapipas. Liverpool F.C. YNWA made a substitution. Grigoris Korpetis replaced Louis Braadbøl. In the 65th match minute, Sheriff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Notis Filippas to maneuver through the defense. Sheriff's Yahia van der Saar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Gaucho in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Sheriff's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Gaucho came free, but Yahia van der Saar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes Ronaldinho Gaucho rounded Sheriff's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-2. After some careless play in the Liverpool F.C. YNWA defense, Clayton Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şerif Nesil. The Liverpool F.C. YNWA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şerif Nesil should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telis Lianos in the 81st minute of play forced Liverpool F.C. YNWA's goalkeeper Şerif Nesil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Damaso Xacintu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şerif Nesil. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Xacintu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. Ronaldinho Gaucho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Sheriff's Yahia van der Saar got control of the ball when Ronaldinho Gaucho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Damaso Xacintu notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Şerif Nesil. Şerif Nesil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Şerif Nesil came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Sheriff's Clayton Gol. But to his dismay, Clayton Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-2. There was no doubt that Sheriff were the better team. Sheriff's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
