Remigiusz Sniegowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerkko Jaakkola in the 8th minute of play. In the 18th minute Raino Piekkanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matti Salo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kerkko Jaakkola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ahvo Ahonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rita's Matti Salo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Rita from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Rita's zone, Raino Piekkanen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matti Salo came out of the goal and Raino Piekkanen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heikki Hietamäki charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heikki Hietamäki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Fc TuskaHiki's Ahvo Ahonen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Matti Salo. Ahvo Ahonen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matti Salo having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kaapo Mattila to strike the kick off in the second half. After 59 minutes of play, Fc TuskaHiki's Ahvo Ahonen made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matti Salo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Raino Piekkanen fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc TuskaHiki's protests and gave Raino Piekkanen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rita booed when Fc TuskaHiki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raino Piekkanen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Fc TuskaHiki's Raino Piekkanen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matti Salo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 70 minutes, Raino Piekkanen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc TuskaHiki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raino Piekkanen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Ahvo Ahonen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Matti Salo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Fc TuskaHiki booed when Rita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikolai Salo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 played minutes Fc TuskaHiki got a freekick which was hit by Vilppu Hänninen. In the 92nd minute Ahvo Ahonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matti Salo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fc TuskaHiki had played much better football throughout.
