Spectators: 7847 (Terracing: 5887, Seating: 1804, VIP seats: 156) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jori Timmonen started the match with the kick off. Matti Manneroos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Maunu Salomaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jori Timmonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Matti Manneroos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maunu Salomaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maunu Salomaa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Askolin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Maunu Salomaa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hannu Huokko's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Hannu Huokko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maunu Salomaa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. When Eero Moskuvaara came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the SC Gunners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eero Moskuvaara couldn't finish the play. Matti Manneroos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Maunu Salomaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maunu Salomaa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Pylkäs, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Maunu Salomaa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hannu Huokko went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hannu Huokko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matti Manneroos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, SC Gunners's Benjamin Askolin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maunu Salomaa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 65 minutes, Eero Moskuvaara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Gunners and the Pasin Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes SC Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Eero Moskuvaara. In the 76th match minute, SC Gunners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Pylkäs to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SC Gunners getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Benjamin Askolin hit a great ball. Matti Manneroos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Maunu Salomaa made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, Pasin Team's goal looked a bit too open when Hannu Huokko came free, but Maunu Salomaa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Matti Manneroos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SC Gunners supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Gunners would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
