The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Yrjänä Esala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petri Helenius having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, Hannes Palolahti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lähdekylä's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paiusalmi IFK the free kick. A collision led to Lähdekylä getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Hannes Palolahti hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lähdekylä fully deserved thier win.
