It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ali Sillgren kicked off to start the match. Tuukka Liimatainen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Eemil Viisala made a huge save. Juliusz Malewicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veikko Hautaoja in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Malko IFK's Aatami Rissanen got a free kick in the 8th minute. Ali Sillgren kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When Veikko Hautaoja came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Härjänvatsa IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Veikko Hautaoja couldn't finish the play. After 14 minutes, Taito Palander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Härjänvatsa IFK and the Malko IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Taito Palander hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Franck Harmannus notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Härjänvatsa IFK's Eemil Viisala. Eemil Viisala was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Antero Nikko lost his temper 21 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 22nd match minute, Härjänvatsa IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antero Nikko to maneuver through the defense. Juliusz Malewicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tero Äijälä, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juliusz Malewicki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tero Äijälä's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Härjänvatsa IFK's Eemil Viisala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuukka Liimatainen in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, Härjänvatsa IFK's Eemil Viisala got control of the ball when August Haapamäki tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Härjänvatsa IFK's Taisto Tukio got a free kick in the 34th minute. A hard shot by Ali Sillgren from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Eemil Viisala's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 36th minute, August Haapamäki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Härjänvatsa IFK's Tero Äijälä in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 43rd minute of the game, Tero Äijälä landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Atso Hana's late challenge caught a Härjänvatsa IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atso Hana helped the player get up and apologised. 45 minutes into the match, Härjänvatsa IFK's Kari Haanpää broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Eero Kärki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Juliusz Malewicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Eero Kärki made the kick off in the second half. Rikhard Heliskoski charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Malko IFK's Rikhard Heliskoski got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute of the match Kari Haanpää shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juliusz Malewicki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 54 minutes, Salomo Mäkelä mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malko IFK and the Härjänvatsa IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Malko IFK's Salomo Mäkelä got a free kick in the 54th minute. Tuukka Liimatainen took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eemil Viisala. Eemil Viisala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When Tuukka Liimatainen came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Malko IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tuukka Liimatainen couldn't finish the play. August Haapamäki hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Eero Kärki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Härjänvatsa IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malko IFK the free kick. Malko IFK's attentive Ali Sillgren managed to snatch the ball when Kosti Pajula made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Malko IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Eero Kärki came free, but Juliusz Malewicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When August Haapamäki was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. In the 89th match minute, Malko IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by August Haapamäki to maneuver through the defense. If Taito Palander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eemil Viisala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salomo Mäkelä in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Malko IFK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Härjänvatsa IFK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
