The audience was convinced that Ukko Ruohonen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filomeno Fiz was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Strömsö IFK's Sulo Helminen suffered a sore thigh after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Niemivirta during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ukko Ruohonen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Filomeno Fiz made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Kosamo FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Fiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonni Salonen. Filomeno Fiz stood somewhat misplaced when Ukko Ruohonen came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 34 minute. When Ukko Ruohonen came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Strömsö IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ukko Ruohonen couldn't finish the play. With splendid footwork Ukko Ruohonen arrived in front of goal to shoot 5-0 by the left pole in the game's 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ukko Ruohonen was the one to do the kick off. Strömsö IFK's Jari Salonen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Strömsö IFK from getting a goal against them. After 82 played minutes Kosamo FC got a freekick which was hit by Miikka Elovaara. Filomeno Fiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahvo Ahmaoja, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89thth minute of the game Zé Augusto Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kosamo FC's Filomeno Fiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olli-Pekka Siltanen's late challenge caught a Strömsö IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olli-Pekka Siltanen helped the player get up and apologised. Olli-Pekka Siltanen kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Albino Fe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Filomeno Fiz. Kosamo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Strömsö IFK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
